Introducing our Beginners Pottery Wheel Course—a comprehensive exploration of clay on the pottery wheel.
In this course, you'll embark on a journey of discovery, mastering the basics of wheel-thrown pottery over 12 intimate one-on-one sessions, each lasting 2 hours, twice a week. Under personalized guidance, you'll learn to craft cylinders, bowls, mugs, and more, honing your skills in shaping and trimming your pieces.
What you’ll learn :
- Preparation of clay - Wedging ( Bull Face Wedging )
- Introduction to the potter’s wheel
- Forms : Cylinders, Bowls, Mugs
- Trimming
- Attaching Handles to Mugs
- Glaze Application to your final pieces
What you’ll takeaway :
- A solid foundation in pottery - This course provides a comprehensive understanding of pottery, enabling you to confidently work on the potter’s wheel on your own.
- Create and Glaze Your Pieces: Craft and glaze up to 4 of your own pieces for your collection, which we will fire for you. This is included in the course fee.
If you wish to fire additional pieces, you can do so for an additional cost.
All materials needed for the course are provided. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm!

Tuesday & Thursday for 6 Weeks - 11.30am to 1.30pm
Pricing: INR 18,000/-
Wednesday & Friday for 6 Weeks - 11.30am to 1.30pm
Pricing: INR 18,000/-
Saturdays for 8 Weeks - 11am to 2pm
Pricing: INR 20,000/-
NOTE: IF you would like to complete your course sooner, we offer options to customise your schedule. Please contact us to discuss this further.
Please Note:
This course operates under a non-cancellable and non-refundable policy.
The course must be completed within 6 weeks, with a grace period of 1 week for any missed sessions.
After 7 weeks, the course will be marked as complete, and we will not be able to reschedule missed sessions.
The course starts one week from the date of registration and confirmation upon receipt of payment.
